2013 DJ June Club Chart – January 7, 2013

ニュー・イヤーズ・イヴに一緒にDJをしたClinton Sparks氏がカウントダウンの直後、12：00ぴったりにかけた曲。華やかで新年の幕開けふさわしい、紙吹雪と共に乾杯するのにピッタリ。物凄く盛り上がりました。

The song Super DJ Clinton Sparks played at 12:00 midnight on New Year’s Eve!! What an electrifying moment when the crowd screamed for a toast to a brand new year!! He and I together ripped it!!

2. Locked Out Of Heaven – Bruno Mars

アップテンポでフロアがパッと明るくなるような、ポジティヴなエネルギーいっぱいの曲。かなり早いので、逆に遅い曲と繋げるのに向いています。遅いサウス系ヒップホップ、トラップやダブ・ステップとのトランジションの役目を果たしてくれて便利。ビデオもカッコよくて好きです。

This fresh sound by Bruno Mars can lighten up the floor. It’s a fusion of modern up tempo pop music perfect to blend laid back Southern Hip Hop and Trap or Dubstep. Love the video too.

3. RIP – Young Jeezy feat2 Chainz

A$AP Rocky の“F***in Problem”や 2 Chainz の“I’m Different” なんかと同じようにかけられるノリのいいヒップホップ。それにしても、今は何でも2チェーンズだなぁ。

This record is as super catchy and radio friendly Hip Hop as S$AP Rocky’s “F***in Problem” and 2 Chainz’ “I’m Different.” It is nearly impossible to make it through more than five songs without at least 12 bars of 2 chainz coming over the airwaves……..

出たばかりのアフロジャックの新曲。クラブでかけてみたけどフロアの反応はまだいまひとつ……。盛り上がるまでにはもう少し時間がかかりそうです。Yeah３xみたいなポップではなく、Afrojackテイストのエレクトロよりな曲。

Brand-new song by Afrojack. I played in the club but people didn’t respond, I guess they are not ready….. It’s not like his previous pop tune “Yearh 3 X”, more on the Electro side. It sure will be a hit just a matter of time.

2. Watch You – Clinton Sparks feat./Pitbull & Disco Flies

初めて大晦日にアトランティック・シティで一緒にDJをするクリントンの新しいシングル。ピットブルがフィーチャーされていて、ノリのいい踊りやすい曲です。

3. Beauty And A Beat – Justin Bieber feat./Nicki Minaj

新しいジャスティンというだけで、ちょっとポップ過ぎるしオトナ向けでない思われがちだけど、この曲が出た頃から私のなかではお気に入りなんです。早い時間にかけてみましたが、フロアの反応はわりと冷たかったです。いい曲なのに…..。最近やっとウケ始めました。よかった。

Don’t be fooled by Justin’s pop icon image any grown folks can enjoy this new joint. I fell in love with this upbeat song when it was dropped. At first getting a cold reception but now start making noise. Go Justin!!

初めて聞いた時は？….インパクトだけあったけど、今ではフロアで踊るというよりはみんなが一緒に口ずさんでいます。

I wasn’t feeling this one at first but now people love to sing-a-long to this.

3. Go Deep (Torro Torro Remix) – Wax Motif & Neoteric

新しいエレクトラ・トラック、かなりビッグです。初めて聞いてもすんなり入れる踊りやすいビート。

1. Pound The Alarm – Nicki Minaj

前回のシングル『Starships』のすぐ後に出て、いまやっとスターシップよりも盛り上がるようになった曲。どっちもにた感じで、ニッキが歌っていて踊りやすい曲。

Nicki`s follow up song to “Starships.” It became bigger than her very similar lead single, “Starships” but very catchy Eurodance hit.

2.Good Time – Owl City f/Carly Rae Jepson

とってもポップでハッピーな曲。特に女の子が大好きでみんな歌いながら踊ってます。私的には、オリジナルはとっても良い曲だけどちょっとクラブにはポップすぎ…..。尊敬するDJ／プロデューサーグループでよく一緒にDJをする機会が多いJump　Smokersのリミックスをかけてます。オリジナルのボーカルにZeddのSpectrumのインストが上手くミックスされていて、いい感じのクラブ向けです。
クラブDJは（ヒップホップ以外）オリジナルはかける事は珍しく、クラブ向けにDJやリミキサーが作ったリミックスバージョンをかけます。DJ同士で、『おい、そのリミックス、誰の！？』という感じで、いかに盛り上がるリミックスを探してかけるのかがDJのセンスや人気につながるんです。

An uplifting, out and out pop duet.Girls love this song but is too pop for clubs to my opinion. I play my fellow DJ friend , Jump Smokers’ remix version.

3. Fall Into The Sky – Zedd Lucky Date & Ellie Goulding

Zeddアルバム Clarityからのニューシングル、Ellie Gouldingの奇麗なボーカルのすぐ後から盛り上がってきてかっこいい！これからきっとヒットする曲。

A new single from Zedd’s much-anticipated Clarity album. Alongside fellow DJ/producer Lucky Date, the two crafted infectious instrumentation for the queen of the electronic vocals, Ellie Goulding, to showcase over.
