1. Anaconda – Nicki Minaj

Lukeなどのマイアミベースを連想させる、めちゃノリのいいパーティー・チューンです。ジャケットの写真がこれまた話題 (最強にデカイお尻丸出し！！Nickiとあって、これをかけるとお姉さん達は大喜びです。

“Anaconda” sampled “Baby Got Back” by Sir Mix-a-Lot”, a bouncing party tune reminds me of Luke’s Miami Base. Artwork for the song showing Nicki Minaj’s huge ass catches people’s attention. All the ladies love this Nicki song.

2. Pimpeii – Bastille

いい曲です！4人組のイギリスのロックバンド Bastille。クラブではエレクトロ・バージョンなんかがかかってますが、この曲のLiveアカペラバージョンってのがあって、とっても素敵です。美術館みたいな？場所で歌ってるんですが(ビデオで観ました)、透明感あふれるボーカルでアカペラ・バージョンも要チェックです。

Love this song by UK’s rock band Bastille!! Usually I play club remixes but their live accapella version sounds beautiful as well. Check out the video the members are singing in a museum-like gorgeous building. Their crystal clear accapella vocal is worth checking!

3. Cut Her Off – K Camp f/ 2 Chainz

ラジオでもクラブでも良くかかってます。キャッチーなコーラスなんで、覚えやすいです。ヒップホップクラウドが喜びます、聞いたことない人でも普通にゆっくり踊れるので、みんな好きな曲ですね。

This song is heavily played on the radio right now. Catchy chorus makes all the hip-hop heads dance to it.

１．Jungle Remix – Jay Z + Beats By Dre

今サッカーワールドカップ真っ最中、クラブでも早い時間はモニターにサッカーの試合中継を流して、セキュリティーのお兄さん達を中心にみんなで観戦してます！DreのBeats By Dreのコマーシャル、超有名サッカープレーヤー達が出演してます。渋いビートにJay Zのラップ。めちゃくちゃかっこいいです!!!
Produced by Beats By Dre the 70-second ad celebrates the World Cup being hosted in Brazil and features the song “Jungle Remix” by X Ambassadors and Jamie N Commons with a guest appearance by Jay-Z. Really dope!!! Before the club gets busy all the security guys and us staffs are watching the game on the TV monitors.

2. 0 To 100 – Drake

今ラジオでよく聞くし、クラブでもかかり始めました。なかなかいいです。きっとヒット間違いなし。友達情報ではラスベガスではもう盛り上がってるらしいです。やっぱりベガスは早いですね。

Drake’s new song is already being played on the radio. According to my Las Vegas connection “0 to 100” is on fire! We better catch up!!

3. Yasss Bitch – Nicki Minaj feat. Souljah Boy

Souljah Boyがプロデュースした曲。Nickiのメロディーのあるラップでいい感じです。クラブでもかかってます。Nickiはやっぱり女の子に人気です、ゆっくりなHip Hopなんだけど女の子も楽しんでます。

Produced by Souljah Boy featuring Nicki Minaj “Yasss Bitch” is a laidback and mellow hip-hop track that girls can’t resist.

1 Foreigners – Fabolous feat. Meek Mill & Mike Davis

いきなり始まりがあの有名なIsrael音楽のコーラスをそのままサンプリングしたのから始まる強烈なインパクトのある曲。(Eric B & Rakim のPaid In Full、Public Enemyの”Can’t Truss It”にも使われてたあのOfra Hazaの曲)　それに続くビートはFat Joe のMy Lifestyleをそのまま(厳密にはStatic Timeという曲ですが)使ってしまっています。最初のイントロと噛み合ってるのかどうも分からないけど、とりあえず最初に聞いた時のインパクトは大です。でも、全てをオートチューンを使ったことによってぶち壊したような、残念です。

フィーチャーされているラッパーMeek Mill はPhilly出身。アトランティック・シティーからも近いので、私が週末DJをしている ACのパーティーではMeek Mill の曲を頻繁にリクエストされます。

Opening up with Israeli musician Ofra Haza’s powerful “Im Nin Alu,”(also sampled by Eric B & Rakim’s “Paid In Full” and Public Enemy’s Can’t Truss It”) “Foreigners” sifts into the samples of Fat Joe’s “My Lifestyle” (the original was called “Static Time.”) It has a strong impact at the beginning but I don’t think this flows. Using Auto-tune for the entire track seems to have ruined the effect as well

People request a lot of Meek Mills songs at Province Club in Atlantic City where I dj every weekend as he is from Philadelphia and AC is not far from his hometown.

2. 1UP – Just Blaze

Just Blazeが大好きなTVゲームのサウンドをサンプリングしたTrap曲。

スーパー・マリオの音も出てきます。昔のJust Blazeプロデュースの曲はこういうゲームサウンドが、いい感じに目立ちすぎずサンプルされたヒップホップでかっこよかったなぁ。もう一度かっこいいヒップホップ作って欲しいです。ちなみにJustに会いたい方は、火曜日のトカチューズデーズに来たら会えます。

Just Blaze loves TV game and he samples Super Mario and turned into trap song. He used to make these signature songs with game sound back in the days. Nice.

3. Boss Ass Bitch – PTAF feat. Nicki Minaj

もともとは、もの凄く普通の3人組の黒人おねーちゃんラッパーの曲だったんですが、Nicki Minajがリミックスにはいって一躍有名に。クラブではサビのNicki の部分だけかけてます。「Bitch, bitch……..」て繰り返しているフックがやけに耳に残って離れないです。

PTAF (Pretty Taking All Fades) is a low key black female rap trio until featuring Nicki Minaj for their remix version. Now they are famous! Thanks to Barbz. I play only Nicki’s hooks at the club. She repeats ‘I’m a boss ass bitch,bitch……….’ Now it’s ringing in my ear.
