Hot97 Summer Jam 2016 Lineup

Hot97 just announced the lineup for the hottest Hip Hop concert of the year, HOT97 Summer Jam!

Main Stadium Stage

Big Sean, Pusha T. & G.O.O.D Music, DJ Khaled & Friends, A$AP Rocky & A$AP Ferg, Bryson Tiller, Young Thug, Tinashe, Kid Ink plus more to be announced!

Festival Stage

Chance The Rapper, Tory Lanez, Curren$y, Desiigner, Post Malone, Justine Skye, Dave east, Dougie F, Rotimi.

WQHT HOT 97 FM, where Hip Hop lives and supreme groundbreaker in music festivals, is back with the hottest concert of the year: HOT 97 Summer Jam! The biggest event in Hip Hop takes over MetLife Stadium on Sunday, June 5th with Stadium Stage performances by Big Sean, Pusha T. & G.O.O.D Music, DJ Khaled & Friends, A$AP Rocky & A$AP Ferg, Bryson Tiller, Young Thug, Tinashe, and Kid Ink, plus more to be announced. Catch two stages of the biggest names in music, exclusive experiences including cool down stations and car show, and more at the greatest Hip Hop event in the world!

Earlier this week, Ebro in the Morning with Laura Stylez & Rosenberg announced the line-up for the Festival Stage, with performances by Chance the Rapper, Tory Lanez, Curren$y, Desiigner, Post Malone, Justine Skye, Dave East, Dougie F and Rotimi! Make sure to stop by the Festival Village before the Stadium show to check-out the cooling station, car show and more. The only way into the parking lot, the Festival Village, and both stages is with your Summer Jam ticket.

And, of course, it’s not Summer Jam without some surprise additions; you never know who will come out on that Summer Jam stage! Don’t miss history being-made; get your tickets and head to MetLife Stadium on June 5th!

Tickets will be available at the MetLife Stadium Box Office beginning Monday, April 11th at 11:00 a.m. ET. CLUB 97 packages, which include premium show seats, access to the VIP Patio on the 50-yard line, an unobstructed view of all Stadium Stage performances, and a full-service cash bar are available for $210. No tickets will be sold at the stadium on the day of the event.

1- 6 Man – Drake

Drakeのニューアルバムは出たばかり。何の宣伝、プロモーション無しに出た途端にiTunes チャートいきなり 1位。全く事前のプロモーションなしでです。Drakeの人気は凄いですね〜。アルバムの中でもこの曲はクラブ映えします。ビートもしっかりしてるので、女の子達も踊りやすいから人気です。

Drake dropped an unexpected mixtape, If Youre Reading This It’s Too Late with no promotion and it became no. 1 on iTunes chart. It is pretty awesome! People love Drake! “6 Man” is perfect for the club and the beat is nice. Especially girls love this song they can dance to.

2- All Hands On Deck – Tinashe f/ Iggy Azalea

今なかなか人気絶好調な Tinasheちゃん。しかも Iggyがフューチャーリングされてるから、絶対人気でますね。可愛いお姉ちゃん二人のコラボ、特にミュージックビデオ出た時には見たくない人いないですよね！

The song by up and coming Tinashe featuring Iggy is definitely the winner. No one can resist the music video of the collaboration of these 2 pretty girls.

3- Lituation – Fabolous

イントロに Lauryn Hill の名曲 Lost One からの Money change the situation って声がサンプルされてて懐かしい感と渋い感が組み合わさってます。これ、Hip Hop好きのお兄さん達から凄い人気です。この間お兄さんにこの曲をかけてくれってかなりねだられました。渋っていたら 50ドルくれたのでばっちりかけました!!めったにないですが、とってもラッキーでした！

It samples the phrase “it’s funny how money change a situation……” from Lauryn Hill’s classic hit “Lost One”, Fabolous describes the song as “something for the streets” and it quickly became a Hip Hop anthem among brothers in the ‘hoods. Some guy asked me to play this song and when I was hesitated he gave me $50! It’s funny how money changed a situation…..

どことなく歌声と曲調がCassie を思い出させるR&B新人シンガー。クラブでもラジオでも今よくかかってます。ちょっと切ない感じだけど踊れるので、パーティーの最後らへんのR&Bの時間にピッタリ。

New comer Tinashe’s electro R&B song “2 On” is a nice club song but with a unique flavor from her Cassie-like vocals.

2. Rather Be – Clean Bandit feat. Jess Glynne

Jess はブリティッシュの女性シンガー／ソングライター。ミュージックビデオが可愛い。舞台は日本、ちゃんと日本で撮影していて、歌詞にも京都など登場します。ダンスミュージックなんだけど、居酒屋やお魚屋さんのシーンもあって楽しい。

British electronic group Clean Bandit featuring vocals from Jess Glynne, “Rather Be” video was filmed in Tokyo. The video is about a Japanese female fan of the band who becomes delirious and has hallucinations of band members. You will see her daily life working as a chef at Izakaya in Tokyo. Very cute video.
