これ今クラブでもの凄い人気です。特にヒップホップ・クラブでですが、ダントツ1位ですね。
彼はBusta Rhymesのクルー The Conglomerateのメンバーなんで、この間私も出席したGlobal Spin Awardsで彼が今1番ホットなHip Hopのこの曲をパフォーマンスした時も、一緒にBustaが出て来て面白いパフォーマンスでした。アトランティックシティーでもリクエスト来てますし、やはりNYではお兄さん達から必ずリクエストいただきます。

O.T. Genasis’s single “Coco” really took over the hip-hop clubs! Signed to Busta Rhymes’ label, Conglomerate Records, when O.T. performed this song at the Global Spin Awards his boss Busta hit the stage alongside him to give an extra boost with no microphone. It was an interesting performance! The song’s reputation even reached to AC and people ask me to play it.

2. All About The Money – Troy Ave feat. Young Lito & Manolo

Brooklyn出身の新人ラッパー、この間出した爽やかHip Hop曲 Your Style feat. Lloyd Banksがヒットしましたね！今回はシンプルなピアノのサンプルとこれまたシンプルなドラムの打ち込みのみのトラックなんですが、キャッチーなフックで地味な中にカッコ良さがきわだってます。これもお兄さん達に大人気です。今はCocoとこの曲のリクエストが凄いです。

Brooklyn’s up-and-comer Troy Ave goes in over a minimally menacing piano-oriented beat. It’s simple and catchy. As far as I’m concerned, “All About The Money” and “Coco” are the most requested songs right now!

3. Computers – Rowdy Rebel feat. Bobby Shmarda

Rowdy君は Hot Ni**gaが大ブレークした Bobby君の相棒ラッパー、もちろんどっちもBrooklyn出身です。二人で色々曲出してますが、これが今熱いです。よくComputerかけてって言われます、お兄さん達からだけでなく、お姉さん達からもリクエスト来ます。もの凄いハードコアな曲なんですが、なんでかなぁ..ノリ的にはHot…をもっとコアにした感じです。私もBrooklyn在住なんで、新人Brooklynラッパー応援したいです！

Rowdy is a member of the Brooklyn-based GS9 crew alongside fellow rapper, Bobby Shmarda known for his song “Hot Ni**ga”. Together with Bobby they dropped many songs but this song is the hottest! Harder than “Hot…..”, “Computers” is the song not just guys but girls want to hear. Big up to up-and-comer Brooklyn rapper Rowdy Rebel!

DJ Mustard, DJ Khaled, Jermaine Dupri, DJ Envy, DJ Scratch, Diplo Among Winners It was a cold night in New York City, but the third annual Global Spin Awards heated things up at New World Stages.

Some of the hottest DJs across the globe were in attendance for the ceremony, which honored and recognized the world’s most dynamic and talented DJs for their contribution to the culture of music and entertainment. The message of the evening was that these men and women are the backbone of the music industry and need to be celebrated as much as the emcees and artists who are more often in the forefront. The party starts with the DJ, and the DJ brings new music to the people.

The show started off with DJ sets from AraabMuzik and Z Trip (with violinist Damien Escobar), before host LaLa Anthony came on stage to begin giving out awards. DJs continued to perform sporadically throughout the night with showcases from DJ Mustard, Rakim, Das EFX, Nice and Smooth, O.T. Genasis, and Busta Rhymes as well as a surprise set from Swizz Beatz.

Sean “Diddy” Combs, whose company REVOLT broadcast the event, was one of the first presenters. He waxed nostalgic about his beginnings in the industry and paid respect for the DJ who “saved my life,” DJ Red Alert. Other presenters on deck were Adam Richman (Man vs. Food), Michael Rapaport (directed documentary on hip-hop group A Tribe Called Quest), MC Lyte, Ne Yo, Remy Ma, and Po Johnson, among others.

The vibe of the show was pure positivity and respect. Award winners thanked the DJs that came before them and preached about the power of the DJ’s platform. Many of them also thanked Global Spin Awards creator Shawn Prez for putting the show together and providing an outlet for celebrating their craft. Swizz Beats even announced that he planned to donate $100,000 to keep the awards show alive.
