The Weeknd On Tour

The Weeknd released his debut album “Kiss Land” on September 18 in Japan (on September 10 in the U.S.) .

According to The Weeknd, the title “Kiss Land” symbolizes the tour life, a terrifying place. It’s a place he’s never been to before that he’s very unfamiliar with.

He also explained where the title Kiss Land came from, saying: “I didn’t want to call it Dark World or something so generic. The title came from a conversation that I overheard and those words stuck out. Someone said, “Kiss Land” and I thought, “That’s going to be the title of my album.” It sounds so ridiculous.

The Weeknd is currently touring in support of his major debut album, “Kiss Land” performing 28 concerts over a month and a half Long time span.

1 Hold On We’re Going Home – Drake

R&BではRobin ThickeのBlurred Lineがまだ根強く大人気ですが、このDrakeのちゃんとしたR&Bもダンスやヒップホップ、トラップのガンガンの嵐の後、パーティーの終盤戦でかけるとガラッと雰囲気が変わってとっても良いです。みんなカップルになって手を取り合って2ステップ、急に微笑ましいほんわかな雰囲気になります。R&Bはやっぱりこういう曲がかけてて楽しいです。

Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Line” is still going strong on an R&B tip and it’s nice to see Drake come back to R&B. “Hold On We’re Going Home” is a perfect smooth track after hearing so many hip-hop, trap and dance songs booming from the speakers on the dance floor. I love to play this song just to see couples dance 2 steps……
