1. Suit & Tie – Justin Timberlake feat/Jay-Z

ジェスティン・ティンバーレイクの新曲。最後のヒット曲、Sexy Back から約6年振りのカムバック。いまどきのダンス・ミュージックじゃなく、爽やかなR＆Bの曲調がナイス!

Justin Timberlake’s comeback single featuring Jay-Z. Real smooth R&B. It’s been more than 6 years since his last hit, “Sexy Back.”

2. Love Me – Lil Wayne feat/Drake & Future

サビの部分が Future で、 Turn Off The Lights やリアーナの Loveee Song を彷彿とさせます。クラブ・プレイにはちょっとまったり過ぎかも知れないけど、なぜか好き。

Featuring Future on the hook somehow reminds me of his “Turn Off The Lights” or even Rihanna’s “Loveee Song.” It’s little too laid back but lovely!

3. Wild For The Night – A$AP Rocky feat/Skrillex & Birday Nam Nam

今、ダンス・ミュージックの主流、トラップやダブステップの最高峰、 Skrillex のプロデュース曲。ヒップホップ・アティスととエレクトロ・ダンス・ミュージック・アーティストがコラボした今風のヒップホップに仕上がっています。

Produced by Skrillex, the King of Dubstep that dominates the current dance music scene. Who would’ve thought that Hip-Hop and Electro Dance Music would collide like this?

1. Clarity – Zedd feat/Foxes

ヴォーカルが奇麗な私のお気に入り曲。 EDM (Electronic Dance Music)ファンにしか受けませんが、先日お客さんからリクエスとされたので心置きなくかけて楽しみました。

Foxes’ vocals are especially sweet and became the main highlight of this EDM track. A group of people asked me to play this EDM record and I did with pleasure!!

2. I Could Be The One – Avicii & Nicky Romero feat/Noonie Bao

これも女性ヴォーカルがちょっと入ったエレクトロ・トラック。少しおとなしめですがビデオも面白いので私のなかではヘヴィー・ローテーションの一つです。

Another electro track featuring female vocalist Noonie Bao. It’s definitely on my heavy rotation lists. Fun video, too.

3. Bring Out The Bottles – RedFoo

LMFAO のメンバーだったRedFoo のソロ曲。 LMFAO らしいノリですが、やはりふたり揃っていたほうがいいなぁ。元メンバーのSky Bluとふたり一緒に揃った曲はもう聴けないのかなぁ……。

One half of LMFAO RedFoo’s latest solo joint. This song is almost convincing us that he’s not a one-man party machine. Am I the only one wishing RedFoo and Sky Blu get together back again?

1. Pair Of Dice – Tiesto

ニュー・イヤーズ・イヴに一緒にDJをしたClinton Sparks氏がカウントダウンの直後、12：00ぴったりにかけた曲。華やかで新年の幕開けふさわしい、紙吹雪と共に乾杯するのにピッタリ。物凄く盛り上がりました。

The song Super DJ Clinton Sparks played at 12:00 midnight on New Year’s Eve!! What an electrifying moment when the crowd screamed for a toast to a brand new year!! He and I together ripped it!!

2. Locked Out Of Heaven – Bruno Mars

アップテンポでフロアがパッと明るくなるような、ポジティヴなエネルギーいっぱいの曲。かなり早いので、逆に遅い曲と繋げるのに向いています。遅いサウス系ヒップホップ、トラップやダブ・ステップとのトランジションの役目を果たしてくれて便利。ビデオもカッコよくて好きです。

This fresh sound by Bruno Mars can lighten up the floor. It’s a fusion of modern up tempo pop music perfect to blend laid back Southern Hip Hop and Trap or Dubstep. Love the video too.

3. RIP – Young Jeezy feat2 Chainz

A$AP Rocky の“F***in Problem”や 2 Chainz の“I’m Different” なんかと同じようにかけられるノリのいいヒップホップ。それにしても、今は何でも2チェーンズだなぁ。

This record is as super catchy and radio friendly Hip Hop as S$AP Rocky’s “F***in Problem” and 2 Chainz’ “I’m Different.” It is nearly impossible to make it through more than five songs without at least 12 bars of 2 chainz coming over the airwaves……..
