Shakiraの新曲はなんとフューチャリングにRihanna。前にBeyonceとコラボしていたのを思い出しました。二人が自慢の腰フリフリダンスを満載した目がハートのミュージックビデオでした。今回はちょっぴりレゲエ調。Rihannaを意識してなのかな。Hotな二人のビデオも楽しみです！

Shakira, Rihanna team up for steamy “Can’t Remember To Forget You”, Shakira’s new single off her new album. Remember Shakira collaborated with Beyonce for “Beatiful Lier” in 2007 shaking their pretty booties? This time she came back with a song with Reggae flavor. Is it Riri’s influence……..?

2. Loyal – Chris Brown f/ Lil Wayne & French Montana

East CoastバージョンとWest Coastバージョンがあって、基本Chris Brown f/ Lil WayneはどちらもおなじなんですがフューチャリングにEastにはFrench Montana、WestにはToo Shortとなっています。クラブでリクエストが来ているのですぐにブレークすること間違いなしです。

Chris Brown enlisted Lil’ Wayne and French Montana for his new track, “Loyal.” They released East Coast and West Coast versions. East features French Montana, West adds Too Short but basically the same song. Watch out! It’ll break soon!

3. Feelin’ Myself – Will. I. Am f/ Miley Cyrus, French Montana & Wiz Khalifa

これまたDJ Mustardさんプロデュース、Twerk色濃いノリのいい曲です。
Mileyちゃん引っ張りダコですね。パーティーでTwerk踊って、私ってめちゃいけてるでしょ的な内容の、ポップなパーティーソング。

DJ Mustard produced Twerk song “Feelin’ Myself” is a great pop party song featuring pop’s reigning queen Miley Cyrus.

“Drunk In Love” が今でも人気でよくお姉さんたちからリクエストされます。やはりビヨンセは女王ですね。女性からの支持率ダントツです、アルバムの売れ行きも好調とか。フォロー・アップのこの曲、Twerkリミックスも出始め、ラジオでもかかっていたりと100%盛り上がること間違いなし。

While ”Drunk In Love” is still one of the most requested songs by ladies, Queen Beyonce drops her follow up song “Partition.” With Twerk Remix and the extensive air play this will surely blow up soon.

2 Dark Horse – Katy Perry feat. Juicy J

AC (Atlantic City) のクラブ「プロビデンス」のウェイトレスのお姉さんたちの間で絶大な人気を誇るのがこの曲。ここはバーテンも白人ばかりですが、ケィティーちゃんが大好きみたいです。パーティーのピークではあまりかかっていませんが、スローなのにノリがよくてマル。

Waitresses at Providence Club in AC love this song. All white bartenders there seem to be crazy about Katy too. This can’t be a mainstream party song but a nice Southern rap-techno mashup song moves at a tempo of 66 beats per minute.

3 Bang It To The Curb – FM Sidney Samson

新しいTwerkソングです。まだまだクラブではかかっていませんが、これから流行る曲。トゥワークはまだまだはやっていますが、かけるタイミングを間違えるとちっとも盛り上がらない………、DJは空気が読めないとできない職業だと痛感させられます。スキルというより、お客さんが何を求めているかを察知して盛り上げる努力をすることが必須。がんばります！

Far East Movement and Sidney Samson’s ”Bank It To The Curb” is the next big Twerk song. Twerk still dominates the club scene but it could be hit or miss. In order to become a dope DJ, you have to play what people want and keep watching the crowd. This is what I do for a living!! I got keep trying!

Happy New Year!

Let me introduce a new song, “Stay With You Tonight” by Clinton Sparks, my good friend with whom I will play at Province, Atlantic City this Saturday. Let’s get the party going!!

1 Stay With You Tonight – Clinton Sparks feat. Riff Raff

今週の土曜日、アトランティック・シティで一緒にDJをする予定のクリントン・スパークスが新曲をリリースしました。エレクトロやヒップホップ DJ /プロデューサーのイメージが強い彼ですが、今回の曲は本人がロック/ポップを歌っています。プロデュースも彼で、公開されたばかりのビデオもクリントンが脚本担当、出演しています。

フィーチャリングに新鋭白人ラッパー、リフ・ラフを起用。ファッション的にはLMFAO風ですが、エレクトロ・ダンス・ミュージック・ファンの間ではすでに大人気ラッパーです。

常に音楽のことを考えて、寝る間も惜しんで活動しているクリントンの姿を見ていると、自分もがんばらなきゃ、と思わされます（反省）。

Sparks has built a reputation for combining elements from multiple genres in his music and this is the perfect example. He is known as an Electro Hip-Hop DJ but his new song, “Stay With You Tonight” is a rock-driven party anthem featuring one and only Riff Raff. Sparks produced, performed and created the treatment for the video all by himself. What a talent!!

2 Counting Stars – One Republic

アコースティックでスローなテンポのオリジナル曲もいいけど、ダンス・リミックスがクラブでは断然さえてます。”If I Lose Myself” がまだクラブで根強い人気ですが、これ大好きです。もうすぐヘヴィー・ローテーションになること間違いなし、 DJジューンが太鼓判押しちゃいます！

I love One Republic’s new single,”Counting Stars” original acoustic version but the dance remix is perfect for the dance floor! “If I Lose Myself” still dominates the club scene but my guts tell me this one is the next heavy-hitter!

3 The Devil Is A Lie – Rick Ross feat. Jay Z

F#ckWithMeYouKnowIGiotIt がヒットしたばかりですが、今度のも絶対きますね！リック・ロスの新しいアルバムに入る曲です。ジェイZ＆ロカフェラ全盛期を思わせる、渋くて迫力のあるビートがすばらしい。（これはジャスト・ブレイズではありませんが、もういちどジャスト＆ジェイZの曲を聴きたいものです。）これ、かなりいけます！

Rick Ross and Jay Z have teamed up for a second time this year, following “F#ckwithmeyouknowigotit” from Magna Carta Holy Grail. The single is called “The Devil Is A Lie” may be it’ll appear on Ross’ forthcoming album Mastermind, which is rumored to be on its way. It almost sounds like Just Blaze produced beats which I miss a lot!

さようなら、DJヒロ Rest in Peace

すでに知っている方も多いかと思いますが、ニューヨーク・ヒップホップ・シーンを盛り上げてきてくれたDJヒロがなくなりました。彼も好きでよくかけていたというこの曲でお別れをつげたいと思います。木曜（12/19）サントス96 Lafayette St, NY 10013にて追悼チャリティー・パーティーを行います。私、DJジューンも回させていただきますのでみなさんご参加下さい。8時より、入場料10ドル（すべてご遺族の方に寄付いたします。）

As many of you may already know our brother DJ Hiro passed away on December 3. I wanted to dedicate this song I heard Hiro used to play at downtown Hip-Hop clubs back in the day. I’m also honored to be a part of DJ Hiro Special Tribute Party at Santos this Thursday. Admission is $10 and DJ Hiro memorial T-shirts will be sold at the venue. All proceed will go to his family. Please join me with many friends including DJ Kaori, Stretch Armstrong, Mark Ronson, DJ Clark Kent and many more.

2. Trillmatic – A$AP Nast & Method Man

かなりWu Tang サウンド、Method Manのファーストアルバム辺りを意識しためちゃかっこいいヒップホップ。現代と昔のヒップホップのコラボが凄く上手く出来上がった作品。こっちのラジオ Hot 97でもヘビーローテーションです。

Trillmatic reminds me of Wu-Tang sound, specifically Method Man’s first album “Tical.” This is the perfect example of great collaboration with old and new Hip Hop. This song is played on Hot 97 all day long!

3. Street Dreamin’ – Bridget Kelly f/ Kendrick Lamar

どのジャンルのヒップホップを聞く人からも物凄い人気のあるKendrick Lamar。少し前にでた曲ですが、よくリクエストがきます。オールドスクールぽいトラックにノリのいい女性ボーカル、2000年辺りによく定番だった、旬のラッパーをフューチャリングした、いい感じのR&Bという懐かしい気分にさせてくれる曲です。こんなR&Bをもっと作って欲しいです。

Kendrick Lamar is the man of the global Hip-Hop. Not a new song but “Street Dreamin’” is frequently requested by many club goers still now. I love this old school track featuring fresh new comer’s rap and female vocal that was almost a sure shot hit making formula back in 2000.
