今週の土曜日、アトランティック・シティで一緒にDJをする予定のクリントン・スパークスが新曲をリリースしました。エレクトロやヒップホップ DJ /プロデューサーのイメージが強い彼ですが、今回の曲は本人がロック/ポップを歌っています。プロデュースも彼で、公開されたばかりのビデオもクリントンが脚本担当、出演しています。

フィーチャリングに新鋭白人ラッパー、リフ・ラフを起用。ファッション的にはLMFAO風ですが、エレクトロ・ダンス・ミュージック・ファンの間ではすでに大人気ラッパーです。

常に音楽のことを考えて、寝る間も惜しんで活動しているクリントンの姿を見ていると、自分もがんばらなきゃ、と思わされます（反省）。

Sparks has built a reputation for combining elements from multiple genres in his music and this is the perfect example. He is known as an Electro Hip-Hop DJ but his new song, “Stay With You Tonight” is a rock-driven party anthem featuring one and only Riff Raff. Sparks produced, performed and created the treatment for the video all by himself. What a talent!!

2 Counting Stars – One Republic

アコースティックでスローなテンポのオリジナル曲もいいけど、ダンス・リミックスがクラブでは断然さえてます。”If I Lose Myself” がまだクラブで根強い人気ですが、これ大好きです。もうすぐヘヴィー・ローテーションになること間違いなし、 DJジューンが太鼓判押しちゃいます！

I love One Republic’s new single,”Counting Stars” original acoustic version but the dance remix is perfect for the dance floor! “If I Lose Myself” still dominates the club scene but my guts tell me this one is the next heavy-hitter!

3 The Devil Is A Lie – Rick Ross feat. Jay Z

F#ckWithMeYouKnowIGiotIt がヒットしたばかりですが、今度のも絶対きますね！リック・ロスの新しいアルバムに入る曲です。ジェイZ＆ロカフェラ全盛期を思わせる、渋くて迫力のあるビートがすばらしい。（これはジャスト・ブレイズではありませんが、もういちどジャスト＆ジェイZの曲を聴きたいものです。）これ、かなりいけます！

Rick Ross and Jay Z have teamed up for a second time this year, following “F#ckwithmeyouknowigotit” from Magna Carta Holy Grail. The single is called “The Devil Is A Lie” may be it’ll appear on Ross’ forthcoming album Mastermind, which is rumored to be on its way. It almost sounds like Just Blaze produced beats which I miss a lot!
