今 爆発的人気のFetty Wapさん。クラブでは彼の曲がオンパレード状態。特に私が週末DJしている Fettyさんの出身地であるNew Jerseyにあるクラブだけでの現象かなぁと思ったんですが、やっぱりマンハッタンのクラブでも同じです。New Yorkだから近いんでそうなんだろうなって思ったんですが、サウスキャロライナでDJをしてる友達もFetty Wapは凄い人気だと言ってました。凄いですね。この曲はお兄さん達からのリクエストが殺到。

Fetty Wap is currently on top of the game and he continues to roll out new music. He is such a phenomenon at the New Jersey club I play on the weekend. I thought it was a local thing that people are crazy about him because he is from NJ. But my fellow DJ working in South Carolina also mentioned Fetty is unstoppable. I am overwhelmed by so many requests from guys.

Rick Rossのソフトな一面の心地よいR&B系Hip Hop。Chris Brownがコーラスに入ってて、これは あかんわけない一曲。ラジオでも毎日かかってます。Chris Brownも もう本当にずっと色んなアーティストから引っ張りダコです。色々あるのに人気衰えず。やはり実力なんだろうなぁ。やはりダントツの歌唱力だし、キャッチーなコーラス作るの上手いし。この曲はあまりクラブの盛り上がってる時間にはかけられないかもしれないけど、良い曲です。

This R&B Hip-Hop song featuring invincible Chris Brown on chorus is a good example to show the soft side of Rick Ross. How can you go wrong with powerful CB who is being sought after by every artist in music industry? His popularity never shows the sign of slowing down. Great voice, catchy chorus, he is absolutely talented. Great song!

  1. What Do You Mean – Justin Bieber

え～ Justin Beiber..? なんておっしゃる方いらっしゃるかもだけど、実は私的にちょっとタイプだったりなんかするんですが (笑) でもどっこい、この曲凄く人気です。クラブでもラウンジでも良く可愛いお姉さんが Justin Bieberかけてー！って言いに来るんです。私もこの曲とっても好きなんでかける時は嬉しいですね。男の人達はちょっぴり恥じらいながら？ダンスしてるように見えるときありますが、中には正直に「おぉ!! 俺この曲すきなんだよな!!」的にガッツリ素直に踊ってるお兄さんも居ます。ビデオのJustin君 かっこ良しです。
Who? Justin Bieber? You might think……I told nobody that I love him. You have no idea how much love he is getting by women fans. Pretty ladies frequently come to my booth and request this song and I would be happy to play it each time. For some reason most of guys seem to be a little shy to dance to this song but sometimes I see men don’t give a damn just show love straight. Check out Justin’s video.

  1. Jugg – Fetty Wap

New Jersey 出身のFetty Wap。やっぱり 特に NY、NJ では今絶大な人気です。この曲は最近でた曲ですが もう皆さんもよーく知ってるのでクラブでも盛り上がります。結構前に出た 679って曲がやっぱりいまだにパーティーではめちゃくちゃ盛り上がります。でも曲自体ちょっと短いので もうちょっと長く作ってくれてたら良かったのにっていつも思います。結構クセが強い歌い方されるので、いつまでこの人気が続くかなぁって思うんですが、彼はとってもいいコーラス作るんでずっと活躍するだろうな。

New Jersey’s one and only Fetty Wap is really hot around NY and NJ. This song is recently released but everybody knows the song and they go crazy. His old song “679” is still banging at parties but the length of the song is too short. I wish it was a little longer…….Because of his vocal is very distinct I wonder if his popularity would last long. Well, I shouldn’t have to worry that he is really talented for creating great chorus.

  1. Back Up Off Me – Dej Loaf f/ Big Sean

 “Try Me” “Be Real” がヒットしましたが、今回は安定の人気の Big Seanとコラボ。いつも独特の声と ラップというか 歌ってるというかなんとなく ほのぼのスタイルで、いい味出してます。女性ラッパー代表の Nicki Minaj みたいなスタイルじゃないところがまた根強いファンに受けるんだろうなぁ。この曲はよーくクラブでかかっててみんな大好きです。

Remember Dej Loaf’s breakout hit “Try Me” and “Be Real”? This time she teamed up with Big Sean, very stable artist popularity wise. Her unique voice and rapping or rather laidback singing style appeal to us, especially hard-core hip-hop fans love Dej ‘cause she has a different style and never tries to be major female rapper like Nicki Minaj who has been holding it down for quite some time now. “Buck Up Offi Me” is a great club banger and we all love it!

  1. Moses – French Montana f/ Chris Brown & Migos

Chris Brownのコーラスがバッチリ効いてます。1度きいたら忘れられなくなります。お兄さんたちから凄い指示を受けてる French Montanaの新曲ですが、ラジオでも毎日かかってます。ゆっくりなテンポなんで踊れますってわけじゃないけど Future とかそのあたりの いまどきHip Hopの時間にはかかせない一曲。

Chris on the hook got me here……..unforgettable. French Montana with strong support by enthusiastic male fans dropped this new gem called “Moses” and it became an instant radio hit. Not typical dance song as the tempo is slow but a must item for my hip-hop set just like songs by artist like Future.

  1. Hit The Quan – iHeart Memphis

“Watch Me”, “Teach Me How To Dougie”みたいに、クラブでみんなで一緒にダンス出来る系、楽しいHip Hop。TVでおなじみのセレブも この曲にのせてお決まりのダンスを踊ってるのが こっちのワイドショーで流れてるの見ました。今回のダンス、ちょっぴり難しくって 私には無理かもです(笑)かなり今人気沸騰の曲。

“Hit The Quan” is a breakout fun hip hop record by iHeart Memphis danceable like “Watch Me” and “Teach Me How To Dougie.” Famous celebrities are dancing to this song on morning shows on TV. It’s very catchy but this dance is a bit complicated for a beginner like me. Very trendy song

  1. Jumpman – Drake & Future

DrakeとFutureのコラボMixTape。What a Time To Be Aliveからの一曲。MixTapeといいながら ちゃんとiTunes Storeで $9.99で売っとります。(黒人さん達が崇拝している) 人気のFutureに、今やNo1Hip Hopアーティストと言っても過言ではないDrakeがコラボ。こりゃ 注目されないわけない。どの曲もなんとなく似てるんだけど、中でも Jumpmanは今ラジオでかかりまくってます。

Drake and Future released their joint project, Mix Tape “What A Time To Be Alive” and available at $9.99 on iTunes Store. The collaboration between Future adored by black folks and #1 hip-hop artist Drake can’t be overlooked. Every song sounds somewhat similar but the fan favorite cut “Jumpman” on the album is heavily played on the radio right now.

  1. Blase – Ty Dolla, Future & Rae Sremmurd

これまたラジオで良くかかってます。最近 Futureが輪をかけて人気ありますね。シアラと別れてなぜかもっと人気出た？のか、なぜなんだろう。FutureとTy Dollaの一度聞いたら耳からはなれないフックがなんともかっこいい。シンプルなビートもいけてます。

This joint is also getting a lot of spin on the radio. Splitting from Ciara made Future more in demand……..? I got addicted to the cool hook created by Future and Ty Dolla and I like the fact that the beat is so simple. Well done!

1. Planes – Jeremih f/ J.Cole

J.Coleってとってもリリシストで 人気ありますよね。この曲はゆっくり過ぎてパーティーではかけられないけど、個人的に好きな曲です。ちなみに 内容は “Mile High Club” = “飛行機の中でHするのが好きな人達”に捧げる曲らしいです。

Featuring J. Cole known as a great lyricist, the two of them dedicate the song to joining the “mile-high club” with a special someone inside of a plane. I like this song personally but it is too slow for the party.

2. Where Ya At – Future f/ Drake

黒人のお兄さん達が大好きな二人のラッパーが一つのトラックに。これは文句なくみんな大好きになる一曲に違いないです。Drakeの Back To Backとビートが似てるので繋げてかけると 良い感じになります。

Two of brothers’ favorite rappers sharing a truck, “Where Ya At” would appeal to the mass without the doubt. Drake is the future………? It feels like a smooth ride featuring this song along with a very similar beat “Back To Back” also by Drake.

3.Yay – Chinx

今年5月に銃弾に倒れたChinxの新曲。なんとなく2000年前半期のヒップホップを思い出させる、なかなか勢いのあるビート。Memphis Bleek の Do My 辺りの感じといったらいいのか。亡くなってから 脚光を浴びだしたChinxだけど、生前にたくさん未公開の曲を作ってたみたいで とっても良い曲が多いです。私的には同じCoke Boyzの French Montanaより好きかも、です。もったいないです。

This is a new song by Chinx, died from a fatal gunshot wound after a drive-byshooting in Jamaica, Queens on May 17, 2015. With aggressive beats his music reminisces early 2000’s hip-hop such as Memphis Bleek’s “Do My”. It seems that Chinx started getting attention posthumously but he left many unreleased songs. To me I love him more than French Montana of Coke Boyz. R.I.P.
