Jugg – Fetty Wap

New Jersey 出身のFetty Wap。やっぱり特に NY、NJ では今絶大な人気です。この曲は最近でた曲ですがもう皆さんもよーく知ってるのでクラブでも盛り上がります。結構前に出た 679って曲がやっぱりいまだにパーティーではめちゃくちゃ盛り上がります。でも曲自体ちょっと短いのでもうちょっと長く作ってくれてたら良かったのにっていつも思います。結構クセが強い歌い方されるので、いつまでこの人気が続くかなぁって思うんですが、彼はとってもいいコーラス作るんでずっと活躍するだろうな。

New Jersey’s one and only Fetty Wap is really hot around NY and NJ. This song is recently released but everybody knows the song and they go crazy. His old song “679” is still banging at parties but the length of the song is too short. I wish it was a little longer…….Because of his vocal is very distinct I wonder if his popularity would last long. Well, I shouldn’t have to worry that he is really talented for creating great chorus.

Back Up Off Me – Dej Loaf f/ Big Sean

“Try Me” “Be Real” がヒットしましたが、今回は安定の人気の Big Seanとコラボ。いつも独特の声とラップというか歌ってるというかなんとなくほのぼのスタイルで、いい味出してます。女性ラッパー代表の Nicki Minaj みたいなスタイルじゃないところがまた根強いファンに受けるんだろうなぁ。この曲はよーくクラブでかかっててみんな大好きです。

Remember Dej Loaf’s breakout hit “Try Me” and “Be Real”? This time she teamed up with Big Sean, very stable artist popularity wise. Her unique voice and rapping or rather laidback singing style appeal to us, especially hard-core hip-hop fans love Dej ‘cause she has a different style and never tries to be major female rapper like Nicki Minaj who has been holding it down for quite some time now. “Buck Up Offi Me” is a great club banger and we all love it!

Moses – French Montana f/ Chris Brown & Migos

Chris Brownのコーラスがバッチリ効いてます。1度きいたら忘れられなくなります。お兄さんたちから凄い指示を受けてる French Montanaの新曲ですが、ラジオでも毎日かかってます。ゆっくりなテンポなんで踊れますってわけじゃないけど Future とかそのあたりのいまどきHip Hopの時間にはかかせない一曲。

Chris on the hook got me here……..unforgettable. French Montana with strong support by enthusiastic male fans dropped this new gem called “Moses” and it became an instant radio hit. Not typical dance song as the tempo is slow but a must item for my hip-hop set just like songs by artist like Future.

1. R.I.C.O – Meek Mill feat. Drake

新しいアルバム Dreams Worth More Than Money からの一曲。まだクラブではかかってないけどきっとすぐにバンバンかかるでしょう。Mill と Drakeとのコラボ、ヒップホップファンなら嬉しい取り合わせです。Meek Mill、お兄さん達から絶大な人気、私が毎週末DJしてるアトランティックシティーのクラブでは Meek Millのホームタウンフィラデルフィアからのお客さんも多いせいか、必ずMeek Millかけてってリクエスト来ます。先週なんて、なんでもいいからMeek Millってリクエストで太っ腹お兄さんから$60チップ貰ってしまいました。滅多にないことなので Meekさんに感謝です！

Meek and Drake connect on R.I.C.O., their second collaboration on a solo track, following “Amen” from Meek Mill’s debut album Dreams & Nightmares. Not yet popular at clubs but it won’t take long to break big. Meek is so huge at the place I dj on the weekend in Atlantic City, NJ being not far from Philadelphia where Meek is from. I get a lot of request to play his songs. Last week, a very big-hearted guy asked me, “Play any song by Meek,” and I obviously satisfied his desire ‘cause he gave me $60 tip! Meek the Man, thank you!

2. 679 – Fetty Wap feat. Remy Boyz

今をときめく Fetty Wap, 現在も Trap Queen はみんな大好きな曲でパーティーでは大盛り上がり、そして次に出た My Wayも大ブレイク中。679は本当は去年出た曲なんですがブレイクせずに終わり、 Fetty Wapが人気の今、再リリース。かなりきてます。ノリのいい R&Bぽいヒップホップ。Remy Boyzは Patterson New Jersey 出身 Fettyを含めた 3人のラップグループです。Pattersonって言ったら NJでもかなり治安悪い地域です。ジャストブレーズさんもそこ出身です。サビもキャッチーで、私も大好きな一曲です。

Best known for his big hit “Trap Queen,” Fetty Wap dropped a new single “My Way,” a great party banger. While everybody is focusing on his new hit, I pick “679” for this week’s chart. This song was originally released on Fetty Wap’s SoundCloud in early 2014 but didn’t blow up until it was re-released with a music video on WorldStarHipHop in May 2015. Fetty’s 3 men unit ‘Remy Boyz’ are from pretty rough neighborhood Patterson, New Jersey. Oh, my friend Just Blaze is also from their hometown.

3. Fun – Pitbull feat. Chris Brown

ちょっぴり早めのテンポ、ラテンテイストの入ったノリのいい曲で、今ラジオでヘビーローテーション中。なぜかクラブではあんまりかかってないんですが、(多分テンポが中途半端の為か？)お客さんからリクエストはよく来ます。やはり Pitbullは根強い人気ですね。クリス・ブラウンなんで、ヒットしないわけないです。ちょっとテンポ早くしたダンス・リミックスもいっぱい出てるので臨機応変にそっちかける時もあります。最近 Pitbullのでっかいヒットがなくて少しさみしいです。夏が終わるまでに一発打ち上げてもらいたいです！

Pitbull’s up-tempo new song with Latin twist “Fun” may just be the song of the summer. I get a lot of request even the song was not being played so much at clubs. How can a song by one and only Pitbull featuring Chris Brown go wrong? I play dance remix depending on the floor’s appetite.

Знаменитый японский женщин-ди-джеем в Нью-Йорке

1 These Walls – Kendrick Lamar f/ Bilal, Anna Wise & Thundercat

発売ホヤホヤのKendrick Lamarのアルバム To Pimp a Butterfly から。アルバムは全体的にいい感じ、おしゃれ度アップ、ネオソウルぽい、渋いです。ドロドロHip Hop命ヘネシー大好きお兄さん達がクラブで喜びそうかはわからないけど、そんなお兄さん達も絶対車運転中に聞くのは好きでしょう。初めてKendrick…を聞いた時から思ったんですが、曲によっては Outkast に似てるなぁ(トラックとか) と思います。みんなも大好きですよね、Outkast。なんだか懐かしい感じのするこの曲。ネオソウル代表者 Bilalも入ってます。生ギター、シンセ.. 生バンドでのパフォーマンスみたいです！

The first one I picked is this song from Kendrick Lamar’s brandnew album “To Pimp a Butterfly”. It is a ‘90s neo-soul throwback and may not satisfy hardcore Hennessy loving Hip Hop heads at clubs but I bet they enjoy listening to the album in the car. My first impression on Kendrick back then was that he sounded so much like Outkast on some tracks. We love Outkast, don’t we? Featuring vocals by neo-soul King, Bilal and acoustic guitar, synthesizer and other instruments “These Walls” brings back old soul music

Знаменитый японский женщин-ди-джеем в Нью-Йорке

1 – Drop The Kitty – Ty Dolla Sign feat. Charli XCX & Tinashe

DJ Mustardっぽい West Coast サウンド。「2 On」がヒットした Tinasheちゃん、可愛いR&Bシンガーでとっても人気です。あと、Icona Popの「I Love It」や、Iggyの「Fancy」にもフューチャリングされてたブリティッ・シュシンガー Charli XCXも入って、いま旬の可愛いお姉ちゃん達入りで豪華です。

Eeven though produced by Stargate this song sounds just like DJ Mustard West Coast beats. Great rapping, another amazing hook from Charli XCX who was featured on Icona Pop’s “I Love It” and Iggy’s “Fancy”, and Tinashae, a pretty R&B singer with her debut hit “2 On” to top it off as well.

2- B#tches N Marijuana – Chris Brown & Tyga

今二人の曲「Ayo」がなかなかいい感じでクラブでかかってます。この曲はまだクラブのメインタイムではかかってないかな……..。「Ayo」のビデオは Puff Daddy & Maseの「Mo Money Mo Problem」をリメイクしててかなり評判いいみたいです。この新しい曲のビデオも面白い物にして欲しいな！

The solid duo of Chris Brown and Tyga are back today with a new cut from their upcoming Fan Of A Fan: The Album project, called “B*tches N Marijuana”. Just like “Ayo”, a remake of P. Diddy and Mase’s “Mo Money Mo Problem” video, please CB and Tyga make some real groovy video!

3- Flex – Rich Homie Quan

Walk Thruや Type Ofのような、いつもの Rich Homie..節。めっちゃ俺お金持ってます、自慢じゃないけどね〜みたいな良くありがちな歌詞ですが、結構ノリが良くて軽い感じで面白いです。ジャケット写真も Shabaランクスの Flex を意識してて、いいですね。

Rich Homie sings his signature song along with “Walk Thru” and “Type Of Way”, Rich, homie, ugn… Mr. CEO is what my title say…….Well typical lyrics but nice and light. The cover shot even looks like Shaba Ranks…….
