前にもチャートに登場しましたが、今ではすっかり浸透してパーティーでの定番曲の仲間入り。今回の Daft Punkアルバムはダンス・ナンバーというよりスローめな曲が多くて嬉しいサプライズ。雰囲気を変えたい時にかけると新鮮で良い。

This was on my previous chart, the lead single from Daft Punk’s new album, “Random Access Memories”. Surprisingly most of songs on the album are rather slow tempo and “Get Lucky” is perfect song to change the mood.

2 Bad Remix – Wale feat. Rihanna

オリジナルのTiara ThomasのフックをRihannaがなぜかそっくりそのままに歌いなおしています。

Sampling by Tiara Thomas. Rihanna did the hook over and sounded just like her. SMH.

3 Beautiful – Mariah Carey feat. Miguel

オールディーズなレトロ感覚の曲。ミゲルはデビュー当時、アトランティック・シティーのクラブにも遊びに来てくれたことがあります。腰の低いナイスなお兄さんでした。今では賞をとったり、マライアとデュエットをするまでに成長……、素晴らしいです。

Miguel came to my party in Atlantic City early in his career. He was so polite and nice. Look how big he is now winning all kinds of awards and singing duet with Miss Diva, Mariah Carey, my man!

毎日ラジオでひっきりなしにかかっている曲。「 I ain’t worried bout nothing 」の連発なのでいやでも耳にこびりついてしまいます。クラブで受けてます。

Most played song on the radio right now. French Montana repeats ‘I ain’t worried bout nothing……’so much it starts ringing in your ear.

3 Return Of The Mack – Mark Morrison

90年代R＆Bの代表的な曲ですが、日本人にはあまり知られていないようです。白人客に受ける曲。もちろん、私も大好きです。

One of the R&B hit songs in 90s. Lesser known song among Japanese but I love it. White people love this too!

去年、友人がやっているラジオ番組で初めて聞いた女性デュオ、Icona Popの最新曲。友人が「今、注目のアーティストだよ。」って紹介していました。今では女の子たちから熱狂的に支持されています。

I heard this female duo, Icona Pop for the first time last year on my friend’s radio show. He said “they are so hot right now, believe me they gonna blow up all over the world,” and sure enough they are the most popular artists especially among ladies.
