2 Can’t Hold Us – Macklemore & Ryan Lewis feat. Ray Delton

今、最も注目されている白人ラッパー、マックルモアの新曲。サビのボーカルが耳に残ります。原曲はわりとスローでクラブには不向きなので、丁度いい早さのリミックス・バージョンをかけています。

The follow up song by the up and coming white rapper, Macklemore. Original is a bit slow so I play remix version with the perfect pitch. Nice

3 Mirrors – Justin Timberlake

ジャスティンのヘビー・ローテーション曲。少しスローですが綺麗な曲ですが、クラブでは盛り上がるかどうか……..、微妙。

Justin Timberlake’s latest single. This is a beautiful slow tempo song. I have to see how it does on the dance floor…….

ハーレム2ニッポンをいつも応援してくれているダンシング・ダグ旅行社の社長、ダグラス・コロン（本人はダギーちゃんと呼ばれるのがお好きなようです）が念願の東京訪問を果たしました。常々、「ボクはニッポンと何か関わりがあると思う。いつか日本人のお嫁さんをもらいたい。」と言っているほどのニッポンびいき。来年から自社DDT (Dancin’ Doug Travel) のパッケージ・ツアーにJapan Tourを加えることになったのだそうです。今回はその視察で東京など日本の各地を訪問しました。そのレポートが届きましたのでご紹介します。

良き人々のみなさん、

まずは“オハヨー・ゴジマス”。とうとうニッポンを制覇した。

第一日

東京に来てみたらみんな背が低くてこんなボクでも平均身長！気分はサイコー！

第二日

吉祥寺にあるアフロ・ラティーノ・カリビアンの店、「バオバブ・ワールド・レストラン」に遊びに行った。素晴らしいライヴ・ジャズ・ショーを体験。ソールド・アウトで立ち見のみ。「ノヴェル・クラシック」というバンドで、リード・ヴォーカルは麗しのアヤカ（彩）、日本を代表するレディー・ソウルだ。

バンド・メンバーでパーカッショニストはセネガル出身。ボクが今度アフリカ・ツアーを企画していると話したら、家族もそこに住んでいてとても安全なところだと教えてくれた。みんな、アフリカに行こうぜ！

第三日

東京近辺を探検。明日のホテルと観光スポットの視察のリサーチ。それにしてもホテルまでのタクシー代が110ドルもしたのは痛い！

第四日

これからはボクのことダギーちゃんって呼んでね。フォーマルの場合は「ダグラスさん」と呼んで下さい（笑）。

昨日も爆睡してしまった。ホテルの中を歩き回っただけで時差ボケに襲われ、この2日間で20時間も眠ってしまった。飛行機で眠るつもりでその48時間前は一睡もしなかったのが飛行中全く眠れず大誤算。やられた。

今日は世界最大のお寺を見学する予定。東京の美しさを堪能するぞ。

DAY THREE IN TOKYO

First of all let me say that I really fit in here since Everybody is short, so I am Average to Tall!! Whoo Hooo. LOL

Yesterday I went to Baobab World Restaurant, an “Afro Latino Caribbean” Spot in Kichijoji, outside of Tokyo, for a LIVE Jazz Show! AMAZING!!! The Show was SOLD OUT STANDING ROOM ONLY!! I was ROCKED by the Band “Novel Klassic” and the Beautiful Ayaka, “The Lady of Soul”, who led on vocals.

I spoke to the Percussionist from Senegal about doing a trip there. Eva DaSilva has Family there and its a safe place to go in Africa. The majority of the people in the Atlanta Travel Group: LET’S JUST GO, said they wanted to travel to Africa, so I will look into it.

One last thing: the cab ride back to my Hotel was $110! Ouch!! As Flash said, “When my car breaks down and I’m out in the rain, then forget it…Huh! TAKE THE TRAIN!”

DAY FOUR IN TOKYO

First of all….JUST CALL ME DOUGGIE-CHAN!!

if we are formal, you can call me DOUGLAS-SON. lol

I crashed again yesterday and just walked around the Hotel. I didn’t realize that Jet Lag was so bad…I slept 20 hours the last two days. Most of it was because I stayed up 48 hours anticipating sleeping on the flight and I didnt.

Today I am going to see the largest Buddhist Temple in the World. Its time to see the Beauty that Tokyo has to offer.

新しい歌も1995年に大ヒットした曲ですが、未だにパーティーではバカ受け。オール・ジャンルのクラウドに受けるありがたい曲。「金曜日やで、パーティーやで……」というシンプルな歌詞、思いきりパーティー・ソング。盛り上がらないことはあり得ない、DJのベスト・フレンド的な曲です。

This is a 1995 number-one hit song by Montell Jordan and still a party banger for any crowd. “It’s Friday night, and I feel all right………,” can’t go wrong.
