1. Somebody – Natalie La Rose f/ Jeremih

この曲私もお気に入りです。明るくて踊りやすいR&B。歌詞も Whitney HoustonのI wanna dance with somebodyのフックや、LMFAOのShotが入っててるから凄く覚えやすくていいですね。やはり女性のお客様からよくリクエストうけます。Natalieちゃんは Flo Ridaが見つけて来たアーティスト。FloRidaの曲のバックで歌ってたのは彼女です。そしてソロデビュー。可愛いし実力派なんでこれから期待できます。

This is one of my favorite songs. It is easy to remember as it contains interpolations of Whitney Houston’s 1987 hit “I Wanna Dance with Somebody” and LMFAO’s song “Shots”. I knew that female customers request the song at my parties. You might have heard Natalie La Rose singing background for Flo Rida’s songs as she is his new discovery and working together for a couple years. This is her debut song assisted by Jeremih. She can’t go wrong with her great looks and vocal skills. Big up to Natalie La Rose!

2. Here It Is – Fro Rida f/ Chris Brown

アップッテンポのダンストラックですが、いつものFlo Ridaの曲みたいにハデハデな曲調じゃないところがまたいいです。もっとパーティーでかけやすい EDMリミックスが色々出るのを楽しみに待ってます。Flo Ridaさん、デビュー前はドカタのバイトをしていたそうで、苦労してデビューを実現したって話を聞きました。しかも凄くいい人らしいです。と聞いてからなんとなく応援してます。

I love this song as it is not like his usual over-the-top up-tempo dance track. Hopefully somebody comes up with more danceable EDM remix soon. I heard that Flo Rida has been struggling so much but overcame a hardship and finally made a record debut. His ghetto success story is real touching and knowing that he is such a nice guy made me want to support him more.

3. Baby Blue – Action Bronson f/ Chance The Rapper

NYで(以外でも)アンダーグラウンドヒップホップ好きな人からめっちゃ人気で一目も二目も置かれているAction Bronson。きっと日本でも人気だと思いますが。新しいアルバムからの曲、これ最近メジャーラジオでよくかかってます。彼にしたらちょっとキャッチーな曲かなぁと思いますが (ので、アルバムは賛否両論みたいです)でもリリックもいつもと変わらずいいし、やはりキレのいいラップ…….。なんとなくWu Tangのゴーストフェースを思い出させる感じもするかっこいいラップが冴えてます。見た目はRick Rossの白バージョンみたいに巨体ですが。ラッパーとして有名になる前は彼、デリ(サンドウィッチとか売ってるお店)で地元で有名なシェフだったらしいです。大きな体だしお肉切ってるのとか似合いますね。

Probably in Japan too, Action Bronson is well respected among underground hip hop fans in New York (and outside of New York as well). This song off from his new album is being played in heavy rotation on the right now. It’s a little bit too catchy for him so not all reviews about his album are positive but the lyrics are tight. He gained recognition for lyrically and stylistically resembling fellow New York rapper Ghostface Killah of Wu-Tang Clan but with his enormous body he looks like white version of Rick Ross. Before he became a famous rapper he was working as a gourmet chef at a deli in New York City. I can visualize big Bronson cutting some meat in the store kitchen.
