1. You Know You Like It – Aluna George

2年ほど前に出た曲なんで、今更といっちゃ今更なのですが…

でも最近DJ達がかけるのをよく耳にします。オリジナルより断然DJ Snakeのリミックスがかっこいい。ブレークの部分のビートがなんとも、クラブではリミックスでないといかんです。

This song came out almost 2 years ago so it is not new but DJs still playing remix versions at clubs. The best remix is definitely by DJ Snake in my opinion.

2. Sing – Ed Sheeran (Produced by Pharrell)

Pharrellプロデュースのあたらしいアップテンポの R&B、ソウルフルでノリがいいです。Justin TimberlakeやRobin Thickeを思い出させるような曲、まさにPharrell ビートです

Produced by Parrell Williams, Ed Sheeran’s new up tempo R&B song, “Sing” sounds a little bit like Justin Timberlake or Robin Thicke. I love this soulful Pharrell’s signature beat!

3. Draft Day – Drake

Lauryn Hill のDoo Wopをサンプル使いしたトラック、それだけでもういい感じです。Doo Wopが出たのは1998年だったんですね…びっくりです。時が経つの早すぎて怖いです！今は90後半2000年ヒップホップ/R&Bがクラブでブレーク中です。21歳くらいの人はきっとちっさかっただろうけど、お父さんお母さんがおうちで聞いてたから歌詞も知ってるし、彼らにとってのオールドスクールってノリで受けているんでしょうか。ヒップホップやR&Bがとってもカッコ良かった時代(Biggie、Jay Z、DMXやら…)なのでこういう現象が起こって嬉しいです。

“Draft Day” samples Lauryn Hill’s ‘Doo Wop (That Thing)’ and features Drake in laid-back tough-talk form. I can’t believe “Doo Wop” was released in 1998……time flies. Late 90’s – 2000’s hip hop and R&B is coming back strong right now. Personally I’m so happy to see Biggie, Jay Z, DMX and other artists from the back in the days are in demand once again. Young people in early 20’s probably were growing up listening to their music when they were kids.
