Mackelemoreの “White Walls” にフューチャーされていたSchoolboy Q。 この曲をかけるとお兄さん達が大喜びします。スローテンポなヒップホップなのでダンス向きではありませんが、トラックが渋いので大音量で聞くとかなりかっこいい。レーベルメートにKendrick Lamarもいて、期待の新人。
Featured on Mackelemore’s “White Walls” a new comer Schoolboy Q released his 2nd official single “Man Of The Year” on Top Dawg label. Blasting Q’s “Man of the Year” draws male fans but slow tempo hip hop won’t make them dance. With Kendrick Lamar as label-mate Q’s future looks very bright.
2. #Selfie – The Chainsmokers
前に一度、アトランティックシティーのクラブで一緒にDJしたことがあるChainsmorkers…この#Selfieがブレークする前だったのでそこまで気にしていない存在でした。が…..,今思うともっと写真とか撮っておけばよかった(汗)。白人の女の子達の間で大人気、みんなInstagramで自分の顔を撮った写真をアップするのが大好きみたいなので、この曲にぴったり、大ブレーク中。
This is a song about a young woman at a club taking selfies and uploading them to her Instagram account. Both selfie and the song became really popular among white girls. “#Selfie” is the hottest song right now. I met Chainsmokers and played with them at the club in Atlantic City but never bothered taking pictures with them as it was before they broke out with this song…….
3. Stoner – Young Thug
Gucci Maneに見出されてデビューしたらしい、やっぱりいっぱい顔にタトゥーが入ったちょっと怖い感じのYoung Thug。I’m a stonerってコーラスが耳に残る、今クラブやラジオでヘビーローテーションのヒップホップ。新しいヒップホップの時間に必ずかけてます。
Young Thug was developed by Gucci Mane that explains why Thug looks scary with his face covered with tattoo. “Stoner” is making heavy rotation at every club in New York including the one I dj.
