1 Wrecking Ball – Miley Cyrus

この間のMTVアワードでのパフォーマンスが大変悪評のMiley、今とてもなにかと話題の彼女ですが…でもこの曲は正直いい曲だと思います。かけるとやっぱり女の子達が喜びます。いろんなリミックスも出ててかける選択豊富です。

People are still talking about her infamous MTV Awards performance but I honestly think this is a great song! Girls love this song. I like the fact that there’s so many remix versions I can pick the right one for my party!

2 Gas Pedal – Supe The Gemini

今や時代はTwerk！

つい最近までTrapと呼ばれる遅いテンポのエレクトロハウスがパーティーのプライムタイムを占めてたんですが、今やDJはみんなこぞってTwerkと呼ばれる100bpmあたりの曲をメインタイムにかけます。

昔から黒人のおねーさん達がまたを大きく開いたまましゃがんだ感じの姿勢でお尻を小刻みにふったりするダンスをパーティーでみていましたが、あれ。例えばLukeの名曲DooDoo Brownのビデオでおねーさん達が踊ってる、まさにあのスタイルです。これもあのMileyちゃんが最近そんな風に踊ってる動画で、Twerkに火がついたようです。ノリのいい踊り安いビートなので、とても盛り上がるからDJとしてはとてもかけやすいです。懐かしいヒップホップのTwerkリミックスもいっぱい出てます。

Do you twerk? We’ve been playing slow tempo electro-house called Trap for party’s prime time now replaced by Twerk which has a heavy fast beat around 100bpm.

Twerking is a type of dancing in which the female dancer shakes her hips in an up-and-down bouncing motion, causing the dander’s buttocks to shake, wobble and jiggle. Remember girls dancing in Luke’s famous “I Wanna Rock (Doo Doo Brown)” video? That’s the style now called Twerk. Miley made it big again. From a DJ ‘s point of view, great beats to dance to and never fail on the dance floor. You can find a plenty of old hip-hop song’s Twerk remix.

3 Fantasy – Mariah Carey feat. O.D.B.

かなり懐かしいところに行きますが…これは女の子達が絶対大合唱するR&Bの名曲。

白人黒人アジア人問わず、みんなが大好き。最初にNYの地名をODBがシャウトアウトしていくので、NYでかけるときは非常にピッタリの欠かせない一品です。女の子はやっぱりマライアって憧れの存在なんだなぁ。ODBの凄いラップも楽しいし、Genious Of Love – Tom Tom Clubのネタを思いっきり使った分かり易いビートだし、最高のクラブでの名曲。

”Fantsy” is everybody’s favorite R&B song, Black, White, Asians, everybody would scream and sing-along. The remix features verses by O.D.B. “New York in the house/Is Brooklyn in the house/Uptonw in the house……” makes it a NY anthem. We need this song on the menu at parties in NYC.

I guess all the girls adore Mariah Carey and I’m one of them. The song heavily samples Tom Tom Club’s 1981 song “Genius of Love” achieved strong commercial success around the world. To me, it’s definitely a classic club song!
